Maghreb Arab Press: Presentation

The Maghreb Arab Press is  the  main press agency in Morocco, and one of the important agencies in the world. It was inaugurated by the king Mohamed the fifth on 1959, so  as it can gather the news concerning Morocco. In the beginning, it was a Societe Anonyme created by many Maghrebans and that has a mission to organize the domain of the information , to develop the services of information using all the means and to spread the news of North Africa and foreign countries. 
The Company stayed a Société Anonyme, till 1974. Then, It passed under the control of the government. 
The agency has twenty eight office in Morocco: Agadir, AL Hoceima, Béni-Mellal, Casablanca, Dakhla, El Kelâa des Sraghna, Errachidia, Essaouira, Fès, Figuig, Guelmime, Kenitra,  Khénifra, Khouribga, Laâyoune, Marrakech, Meknès, Nador, Oujda, Ouarzazate, Rabat-Salé,  Safi,  Settat, Smara, Tanger, Tata, Taza & Tétouan.
Twenty four office in the world:  Alger, Berlin, Beirut, Brussels, Dakar, Genève, Istanbul, Le Caire, Lisbonne, London, Madrid, Montréal, Moscow  Nairobi, New Delhi, Nouakchott, Paris, Pékin, Rome, Ryad,  Sao Paulo, Tripoli, Tunis  &  Washington. and many reporters all around the world.
It offers it services in four languages, and it is the main news database in Morocco.
