The Big Picture : Hollywood History 101: Part 1

Hello everyone!

Seeing as how we are going to see the history of each media I hereby present you a very informative 4 part video about the beginning, fall and rise of Hollywood.

The first part deals with how Hollywood emerged and dominated.

The second part shows Hollywood's fall due to not adapting to its changing audience who have been converted by the emergence of television.

The third part is about the much lauded "Golden Age" of Hollywood where giants like Coppola, Lucas and Spielberg emerged.

The last part which is a supplement shows how censorship came to be and how it influenced past and future events. It also shows what we discussed in class about showing an audience things they wouldn't approve or understand.
